Visit a settlement
Now you have the possibility to visit an old settlement in the midmorning.
The tour begins with a 7 km drive from Piilijärvi Camping. We leave the car and follows the
mountain edge to the settlements. Where we make
a small camp fire and eat our lunch, which is provided (sausage, coffee/tea/chocolate and sandwiches,which we grill over the fire) before beginning the trek back.
Tip! Autumn is a wonderful time to take a hiking
tour to the low fjeld. Nature slowly explodes in a frenzy of colors. The trees wear magical coats of crimson, gold and scarlet leaves, hillsides glisten under a pale pink glaze and dry leaves crunch underfoot.
